The annual Tabulam and Templer Homes for the Aged (TTHA) Christmas ‘Weihnachtsmarkt’ Market is a wondrous multicultural celebration of Christmas and community, bringing together the community, families, market stallholders, businesses and our residents in a delightful community Christmas fair.

Over 50 stallholders showcase beautiful crafts, candles, jewellery, chocolates, raffle, and apparel. Our attendees delight in the coffee van, bratwurst, pretzels, and MANY other food trucks and sweets stalls.

Our children’s area attracts our little market-goers with face painting and a petting zoo while their parents sample the wares and browse for bargains. A strong focus of our market is inclusion, community togetherness and the celebration of Christmas in a multicultural environment.

Our residents enjoy selling plants and crafts, which raises excellent funds for our fantastic lifestyle program benefiting our residents.

The Christmas’ Weihnachtsmarkt’ Market connects our residents to the broader community and builds a much-needed relationship for those living here at TTHA.

The annual market encourages participation from our whole local community, showcasing the individualism and culture of those living there. The community’s involvement promotes cross-cultural awareness, understanding, respect, unity, and intercultural relationships.

The market ensures our residents can celebrate, preserve and share their cultural traditions meaningfully with our wider community. The market delivers genuine partnerships between the community, our residents, and all of the organisations involved with TTHA.
