AlayaCare Technical Specialist – Drive Innovation in Home Care

Are you an AlayaCare expert with a passion for solving complex problems and improving how care is delivered? Our home care organisation is seeking a Technical Specialist to configure, optimise, and enhance our AlayaCare platform; ensuring it delivers efficient, reliable, and scalable outcomes across the business.

About the Role

You will play a key role in shaping how our organisation uses AlayaCare by designing workflows, improving system performance, and ensuring data integrity. This role is central to simplifying processes, empowering staff, and enabling better care through technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and optimise AlayaCare to deliver optimal system performance and output
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings, providing expert guidance and recommendations on technical matters including data migration, custom reporting, API integrations, and flat file integrations
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across the platform
  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to integrate AlayaCare with other platforms and enhance system automation and efficiency
  • Apply troubleshooting and critical thinking skills to identify system issues, and propose clear remediation strategies
  • Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring end-to-end solutions are validated and meet business requirements
  • Simplify tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce administrative tasks for other staff members
  • Attend industry training and track product updates and proactively apply new features
  • Create and maintain staff dashboards to support critical data reporting, and decision-making
  • Develop and implement online forms to streamline workflows, improve data capture and reporting
  • Train and support staff to ensure confident and effective system use
  • Provide hands-on integration support by triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving configuration, connector, and data issues while coordinating timely cross-functional responses and communications

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, software engineering or similar
  • Proven experience working with AlayaCare (essential)
  • Proven experience in data migration, API development/integration, cloud certifications, automation, smart form creation (highly desirable)
  • Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, and data flows
  • Confident delivering training to both technical and non-technical users
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and system optimisation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in home care, aged care, or healthcare (highly regarded)

Requirements:

  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence + own insured vehicle
  • Current Police Check (within the last 12 months)
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
