Caring for someone can leave little time to connect, reflect and simply enjoy something for yourself.
Our Free Carers Lunch ~ brings carers together over lunch for relaxed conversation, connection and a shared love of stories. We will be discussing ~ Bittersweet (Book Club style). There’s no pressure, no formal book review and definitely no homework required.
A gathering for lunch and we’ll be discussing, the themes from:
-
Bittersweet by Susan Cain
This book is about how sorrow, longing and life’s bittersweet moments can deepen our creativity, compassion, connection and appreciation of life.
No homework required!
You’re warmly invited whether you:
- have read the entire book
- have only made it through a few chapters
- haven’t started it yet
- simply want to enjoy lunch and connect with other carers.
While the book will help start the conversation, the real focus is connection, creating a welcoming space where carers can meet others, share perspectives and enjoy time together in a relaxed environment.
