In August, we’re hosting a FREE, all-inclusive day out to recognise, celebrate and thank carers for the vital role they play in our community. Whether you support a partner, other family member or friend living in the community, this day is all about giving you a break - a chance to relax, connect with others and feel appreciated.

Date:  Wednesday 20th August 2025

Time:  8:30am – 4:30pm

Pick-up location:  Everyone attending our Carers Day Event must meet by 8:30am at the TTHA/Accent Home Care 'Sunroom' which is located at 51 Elizabeth Street, Bayswater VIC 3153. We will be departing together on our chartered bus at 9:00am sharp.


The Event: Our special free Carer Day event includes:

☕   A High tea at the Parliament House Members Dining Room

🎭   A matinee viewing of ‘Annie the Musical’ at The Princess Theatre 

🚌   Pick up and return to TTHA/Accent Home Care, Bayswater in our chartered bus

 

As this event is fully Government funded, you are required to complete the Carers Day Application & Consent form below, which takes about 2 minutes to complete. If you require help in completing your Event Application, please call TTHA Reception on 8720-1333.

Please note:

  • You don’t need to be officially registered as a caregiver or be receiving a Carers allowance to attend, but you must meet the eligibility criteria 
    outlined in the Application below
  • This event is primarily for Carers and while care recipients are welcome, we are unable to accommodate mobility aids, such as 4-wheel walkers, due to the extent of walking required between venues and the steps to be negotiated
