A day to remember: Neil Diamond Musical - A Beautiful Noise
Caring for someone else can make it difficult to find time to simply step away, connect with others and enjoy something just for yourself. Our Carer Support events are designed to create those opportunities.
Recently, we were delighted to take 60 carers and guests into Melbourne for a memorable day out together.
High Tea at the Sofitel
The day began with an elegant High Tea at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins, where our group enjoyed beautiful food, plenty of conversation and spectacular views from Level 35.
It was a chance to slow down, catch up with familiar faces, meet new people and simply enjoy the experience.
An afternoon at the theatre
From there, it was a short stroll to the Princess Theatre for a matinee performance of Neil Diamond – A Beautiful Noise.
It didn’t take long for some familiar favourites to have everyone singing and clapping along. The music, laughter and energy in the theatre made for a wonderful end to the day.
Creating opportunities for carers to connect
At TTHA, supporting carers is an important part of what we do. Our Carer Support program provides opportunities for carers to take time for themselves, meet others who understand the caring journey and enjoy meaningful experiences together.
We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special.
